Mildred Eileen Adams
Services for Mrs. Adams will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Wilson officiating. Interment will be in Jennings Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m. Saturday until services.
Mrs. Adams 72, of Hermitage, died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2007. She was a certified nurse technician.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Brian and Nellie May Gregory; a son, David McCarty; a daughter, Brenda Jo Adams; a granddaughter, Rachel Rayburn; and a sister, Charlotte Franko.
Survivors include: four children, Dennis (Shirley Carlene) Adams of Hermitage, Glenda (Brodie) Anderson of Old Hickory, Gayle Wright of Statesville and Michelle McCarty of Mt. Juliet; three sisters, Ruby Saucedo of Sullivan, Ill., Mary Ketheryn (William) Martin of Sullivan, Ill. and Marjorie Raburn of Dexter, Ga.; two brothers, Floyd (Donna) Gregory of Sullivan, Ill. and Clyde (Linda) Gregory of Oakley, Ill.; 15 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Joshua Scott Gann
Graveside services for infant Gann will be 11:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16 at Cedar Grove Cemetery with Pastor Robert Scales officiating.
Infant Gann died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2007.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Wayne and Janice Gann and Kathy Ann Harris. Survivors include: parents, Tony and Angie Gann; grandfather, Bobby (Kathleen) Harris; brother, Craig Gann; sisters, McKenna Hibdon, and Katherine and Angela Harris; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Alyne Cornwell Phelps
Graveside services for Mrs. Phelps will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18 at Ridgewood Cemetery.
Mrs. Phelps, 88, of Lebanon and formerly of Nashville, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007 at Quality Care in Lebanon. She retired from the State of Tennessee after 52 years with the Department of Safety. She was a volunteer at Baptist Hospital for several years.
She was preceded in death by parents, Thomas R. and Annie Beasley Cornwell; husband, Tennessee Highway Patrol Captain James T. Phelps; and sisters, Mallie Duke, Mamie Piper, Myrtle Green, Belle Hailey and Robbie Cooksey. Survivors include: sister, Mary Alice Coley of Gallatin; brother, Rye (Geraldine) Cornwell of Pleasant Shade; several nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Honorary pallbearers will be Martha Burton, the Baptist Hospital Pink Ladies and the staff of Quality Care.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the charity of your choice.
Mabel Elizabeth Waters
Services for Mrs. Waters will be noon Friday, Nov. 16 at Hellum Funeral Home with the Rev. C.L. Haynie officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the service Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Waters, 94, of Lebanon, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2007.
Survivors include: children, Charles (Elaine) Waters of Georgia, Robert A. Waters of Mt. Juliet, Van Waters of Lebanon, James (Patsy) Waters of Murfreesboro, and Patricia Waters-Mayfield of Los Angeles, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sisters, Katherine Hightower of Chicago, Ill., Willie B. Moore of New York and Ada Marie Stokes of Lebanon; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; and extended family members Loretta Young and Kenneth Williams.
