Cotton Candy is a sweet German shepherd mix, about 3-4 years old, calm and mild-mannered. She was found as a skinny stray, but her weight is now good, and she is healthy. She is spayed, current on shots and heartworm negative. Cotton gets along fine with other dogs and has met cats with no problem. She does not mess in her kennel area, so she should be fine with housetraining to a new home. Cotton is a beautiful lady and would make a calm and enjoyable companion pet. For information on Cotton Candy, contact Country K-9 Rescue at 615-444-8011.
Hardee was found recently and no owner was located from all listings and checks. Hardee is a rat terrier and a puppy at only 3 months old. He is happy and friendly with other dogs and all visitors. He wants to play with our office cats, but when they ignore him, he finds something else fun to do. Before adoption, Hardee will be neutered and current on shots, but anyone can meet and apply for him now. For information, contact the kennel at 615-444-8011.
Visit countryk9.petfinder.com or find Country K-9 Rescue on Facebook at Country K-9 Rescue Adoptable Pets to see other available rescued pets. Adoption fees are usually $100 for dogs and $50 for cats or kittens. All pets are fully vetted and healthy.
Jackie O is a sweet, energetic, 5-year-old, 22-pound, brindle Boston terrier and pug mix. She came to New Leash on Life from an area animal control with her puppy – JFK – so they could find forever homes where they would be loved and kept safe. Volunteers are learning more and more about her personality as she settles in at New Leash. Jackie will be spayed, micro-chipped and current on vaccinations prior to adoption. Come and meet this beautiful girl and adopt her for $135. All New Leash on Life dogs must be adopted to families willing to have their pets be allowed inside, especially at night.
Tabitha is a beautiful, 7-year-old, 9-pound, brown-and-white, short-to-medium-haired tabby. She is friendly and loves rolling over to get attention and chin scratches. She tolerates other cats in the open cat room but might be best in a home as the only cat – or at least a slow introduction to existing cats. Tabitha enjoys stretching out on the various cat trees – reaching out wanting attention when someone walks in the room. Tabitha is litter-box trained, spayed, micro-chipped and current on vaccinations. Come to the PetSmart in Mt. Juliet’s Providence Marketplace and meet this beautiful girl and adopt her for $75. All cats must be indoor only and shall not be declawed.
Not sure if you’re ready to commit to adoption? Ask about New Leash on Life’s seven-day sleepover program for dogs and cats.
