As a 2014 sponsor and a perennial leader in corporate contributions, Wilson Bank & Trust is continuing a tradition of support for the American Cancer Society through Relay For Life of Wilson County.

As part of this year’s Relay campaign at Wilson Bank & Trust, the bank presented a check for $2,500 to the American Cancer Society. The donation is one of several ways Wilson Bank & Trust is supporting Relay For Life again this year. Other efforts include a roadblock, plant sales, a car wash, bake sales, auctions, ribbon sales and more. A schedule of fundraisers can be found in the Community section of wilsonbank.com for anyone interested in supporting Relay through a purchase or donation.

Last year, WB&T contributed more than $40,000 to Relay For Life, becoming one of the top 25 contributors in the American Cancer Society’s mid-south region for the 2013 campaign. Wilson Bank has been part of Relay For Life of Wilson County since 1996.

This year’s Relay For Life event will take place June 6 from 6 p.m. to midnight behind Wilson Bank & Trust’s main office at 623 W. Main St. in Lebanon. Teams and individuals can register for Relay for Life of Wilson County or donate to the American Cancer Society at relayforlife.org/wilsontn.

The American Cancer Society is dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by saving lives, diminishing suffering and preventing cancer through research, education, advocacy and service. ACS celebrated its 100th birthday earlier this year.
