Craft posted her victory in the triple jump on Friday with a mark of 37-2. Freshman Kelea Barnett placed fifth in the shot put with a distance of 38-6 and was seventh in the hammer throw with a mark of 117-5.
Freshman Amber Mays finished second in the 1500-meters in 5:16.44 and was second in the 800 in 2:33.88, while sophomore Claudia Tepox placed second in the 10,000-meters in 44:33.00.
Tamia Aldridge finished third in the 100-meter hurdles in 17.44 and took sixth in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:12.09. Junior Marcennia Milburn placed third in the 100-meters in 13.19 and was fifth in the 200 in 27.29.
Sophomore Taylor Blankenship finished fourth in the 800 in 2:37.00 and the 1500 in 5:29.58, while sophomore Gavin DuVall was eighth in the 800 in 2:54.27.
On the men’s side, Hill won the 800-meters in 1:58.00 and took second in the 1500 in 4:14.78. Cumberland had five runners place in the 1500, including Madut in third (4:16.09), Jerry Rojas in third (4:23.97), Tanner Harp in seventh (4:33.12) and Carlos Tirado in eighth (4:34.09).
Madut won the 10,000-meters on Friday night in 33:09 and placed second in the 3000-meters in 9:15.25. Rojas took second in the 10,000 in 33:21.00 and Carlos Tirado was fourth in 37:09.00, while Rojas placed third in the 3000 in 9:18.08 and Harp came in fifth in 9:4:09.00, while Rojas placed third in the 3000 in 9:18.08 and Harp came in fifth in 9:43.02.
Martarious Brooks finished second in the 200-meters in 22.27 and was sixth in the 100 in 11.34. Trey Robinson placed fourth in the 200 in 22.98 and Travon Wimley was eighth in the 100 in 11.47.
Xavier Knight took second and Jonathan Hasselbald was fourth in the 110-meter hurdles for the Phoenix with times of 16.35 and 20.17, respectively, and Hasselbald was fifth in the 400-meter hurdles in 65.12.
Freshman Josiah Scott was the only field event participant to score for CU, placing fifth in the shot put with a mark of 40-5.
Cumberland’s next event takes place in two weeks at the Western Kentucky Invitational on April 7-8 in Bowling Green, Ky.
