Local students awarded for academic excellence at Lipscomb University

Several Lebanon students were honored at Lipscomb University for academic achievement during the fall semester 2013, said Dr. Craig Bledsoe, provost.

At the end of each semester, students who make perfect grades for the semester while taking at least 12 credit hours are named to the Provost’s List. Students who achieve a grade average of 3.5 to 3.99 are named to the Honor Roll.

Lebanon students who have received these honors for fall 2013 are:

Honor Roll: Matt Brown, Taylor Wright, Rebecca Foster, Hannah Rountree, Aaron Cluck, Seth Carey, Nathan Marks and Bri Stovall.

Provost’s List:  Emily Sherrill, Leah Davenport, Morgan McDonald, Chelsea Burroughs, Adrian Ricketts, Brittany Elmore, John Carver, Jonny Midgett, Kyle Neal and Claire Brown.

Local students part of record-breaking class at Lipscomb University

Several area students were awarded a degree from Lipscomb University at the conclusion of the spring semester 2014.

The May 3 commencement ceremony marked the largest graduating class in Lipscomb’s history as the university awarded 659 degrees to May 2014 graduates.

Local students included Matt Brown, Camille Cross and John Carver.
