Sandefur gets scholarship

Heather Sandefur of Lebanon was awarded the Delta Nu Alpha Les Overton Scholarship by Jim Hall, President, Delta Nu Alpha Transportation Fraternity, Volunteer Chapter 135, Nashville.

Sandefur graduated from the class of 2014 at Lebanon High School and will be studying Transportation, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga.

Delta Nu Alpha is an international organization of professional men and women in all areas and at all levels of transportation and logistics. The cornerstone of Delta Nu Alpha's success is its emphasis on education, financial assistance and mentoring for students. DNA also provides excellent continuing education opportunities for the work force and vigilance in communicating changes in regulations. 

Seagraves graduates from Tennessee College of Applied Technology

Jimmy Seagraves of Lebanon recently graduated from the Industrial Maintenance Technology program at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology at Hartsville.

He received an Industrial Maintenance Technician diploma. He is currently employed as an equipment operator with Nyrstar in Gordonsville.
