Lebanon intersection to close for six weeks

An intersection in Lebanon will be closed for the next six weeks while workers complete a sewer project.

According to officials with Conrad Construction Co., the company contracted with the city to do the work, the intersection at N. Maple Street and Market Street will be closed to allow for work on a city square sewer project.

Officials said the closure is necessary for safety reasons while repairs are made to a storm drain. This will be the only intersection area affected, but it will mean commuters will need to find an alternate route because no through traffic will be allowed until repairs are complete.
