A Lebanon street will be closed Saturday and Monday to allow workers to pave it after work was completed to run water and sewer lines there recently.

ADC Paving officials said E. Adams Street between Jack in the Box and a new Murphy Oil gas station under construction will be closed Saturday from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Monday from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. to allow for paving. The road was previously damaged when new water and sewer lines were extended to the gas station.

Several road projects continue across Wilson County, according to Tennessee Department of Transportation officials.

Paving continues on U.S. 231 in Lebanon from State Route 265 to south of Hartmann Drive and from the Interstate 40 ramp to south of Gay Street nightly from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. Alternating lane closures on U.S. 231 north of I-40 in both directions are expected to install permanent striping.

A widening project continues on I-40 from Central Pike to east of State Route 109 nightly from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Motorists should expect alternating lane closures for milling operations and traffic shifts. Rolling road blocks are expected daily from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. for blasting. Police officers will be used to direct traffic.

Lane closures are expected daily from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on State Route 840 in Wilson County to allow workers to patch potholes and nightly from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. to allow workers to repair guardrail.
