Manhole to be installed, traffic delays expected

Conrad Construction Co. workers will install a manhole on Highway 231 S. beginning Thursday that could cause traffic delays near the Lebanon Square.

The manhole will be installed, weather permitting, in the general area of Shenandoah Mills, and work will continue until it’s complete.

Conrad officials said the process is expected to take place during daytime hours and require several days of lane closures to allow the manhole to be installed and concrete to cure. It’s anticipated lane closures will continue through the weekend.

Traffic will be allowed through the work zone, but Conrad officials said drivers should expect delays.

The work is in conjunction with an ongoing sewer project at the Lebanon Square.
