Police are still looking for two men accused in the recent shooting death of Lebanon man.

Derrick Devaughn Carr, 19, of 204 Morgan Meade Court in Nashville, and Shawn Derrick Betty Jr., 20, of 3018 Indiana Ave., are wanted for the shooting death of Andre D. Logue and the shooting of Justin L. Johnson.

The incident happened in the early morning hours of Aug. 10 at 32 Dedmon Street.

On Aug. 13, a Wilson County grand jury indicted Carr and Betty for first-degree premeditated murder, felony first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, especially aggravated robbery and reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon involved.

On Aug. 17, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation added Carr and Betty to its Top 10 Most Wanted Fugitives list.

Since then, though, police have had little luck tracking down the men.

“Right now, we just don’t have a real good, solid lead on where they’re at,” said Lebanon police Chief Scott Bowen. “We’re still taking any information, any leads we may get, but other than that, we’re just hoping they will pop their heads up.”

He said that police believe Carr and Betty, who are both known gang members, are likely being hidden by friends.

TBI agents said both Carr and Betty may be in possession of a .45-caliber handgun and a .9 mm handgun and are believed to be driving a newer model red Ford Mustang with unknown license plate number.

Bowen said police issued a $1,000 reward each for information leading to the capture of either Carr or Betty.

“We are working with TBI, FBI and the Nashville Gang Unit,” Bowen said. “We are doing everything we can to get these guys caught. We are offering a $1,000 each on these suspects, and the grand jury indicted them on several charges. Obviously the main thing right now is getting them arrested.”

Bowen said anyone with information should call Lebanon police at 615-444-2323 or the TBI at 800-TBI-FIND.

This was the first shooting death reported in Lebanon since December 2012.
