The incident happened at about 7:30 p.m. at 609 W. Adams St. Officers arrived to find Anthony Jordan, 40, of Lebanon, suffered two gunshot wounds. One was in his back.

Jordan was taken to University Medical Center for treatment. His condition wasn’t immediately available.

Bowen said witnesses told police they saw several men arguing and then heard two to three gunshots. He said a juvenile suspect was charged in connection with the shooting but not the shooting itself.
