Robertson County man recent addition to state’s most wanted list

NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has a new addition to the state’s top 10 most wanted list.

Darius Dwayne Hyde, of Springfield, was added Tuesday.

Hyde is wanted by Springfield police and TBI agents. Currently, Springfield police have charged Hyde with criminal homicide.

On Saturday, TBI agents said Hyde, 24, shot and killed Joseph Sharkley on Central Avenue in Springfield. Hyde has a last known address of 309 S. Ivy Court in Springfield. He is described as an African-American man with black hair and brown eyes. He is about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds.

Hyde has a criminal history of aggravated kidnapping, aggravated assault and evading arrest and is considered to be armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Hyde is asked to call TBI at 800-TBI-FIND or Springfield police at 615-384-8422. There is a $1,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
