A Lebanon man indicted on several state and federal charges had a Wilson County court date continued until October.

Aderius Bingham, 22, was charged with aggravated robbery, theft of property and several weapons- and drug-related charges in Wilson County.

Criminal court Judge John Wooten Jr., on Monday set Bingham’s disposition hearing for Oct. 20, due to Bingham currently in federal custody.

A federal grand jury handed down a seven-count indictment last October that involved Bingham, along with Terrance Shaw, 22, and Jalissa Brooks, 23, both of Lebanon, charging them with aggravated robbery and other drug- and gun-related offenses.

The first count charged the three with conspiracy to commit armed robbery. The second count charged Shaw and Bingham with robbery in a June 11, 2013 home invasion at 411 E. Market St.

Lebanon police Chief Scott Bowen said Shaw and Bingham were accused of breaking into the home and robbing a family at gunpoint.

Another count charged Shaw and Bingham with possession of and brandishing a “short-barreled” shotgun during the commission of a robbery in the June 11, 2013 home invasion.

The sixth count charged Shaw, Bingham and Brooks with robbery involving a June 22, 2013 incident. The seventh count charged Shaw, Bingham and Brooks with brandishing a firearm during the commission of a June 22, 2013 robbery.

Police believe Shaw and Bingham forced entry into a Plaza 231 Inn motel room on Cumberland Street in Lebanon on June 22, 2013 and demanded money from the occupant.

One of the suspects hit the victim in the head with a handgun, and the two suspects took the victim’s wallet, $350 and prescription pills, according to police.

Bingham was wanted on an aggravated burglary charge stemming from a June 11, 2013 home invasion at the time.

Officers captured Bingham and Shaw on July 3, 2013 in a multiagency operation at a home in Nashville. Both have since been held without bond.
