Lebanon police officer evacuated the McDonalds at 705 S. Cumberland Street on Monday night for a bomb threat.

According to Lebanon police Sgt. P.J. Hardy, an anonymous caller threatened an employee over the phone and said he was going to blow up the place she was working.

The employee told the manager, who in turn called 911. Officers evacuated the restaurant and sent a bomb dog in, but no bomb was found.

“We feel it was a prank call, but nonetheless had to treat it as a threat,” said Hardy.
