Lebanon officials announced the 2014 Spring Clean Up will be March 31 through April 11.

The intent of this service is for Lebanon residents to discard unwanted items generated at their homes. Vacant houses and lots will not be picked up. Generally, the volume of the unwanted items should not exceed what could be loaded in the back of an average-size pick-up truck.

Please place all small and/or loose items in trash bags and separate all other items as wood, metal and other.

Tires and hazardous waste including chemicals, paint and wet batteries will not be collected.  All compressors must be removed, and all doors must be removed from refrigerators or freezers. Commercial property and contractual or construction waste from residential properties will not be accepted.

Items brought from one address to another address will not be picked up. Commercial and Industrial property waste will not be accepted. Mattresses, box springs, carpet and carpet padding will not be picked up. Only one medium-sized bag of clothing will be accepted.

Anyone with questions regarding the pick up of a particular item or whether a particular item can be accepted, contact the Street Department at 615-444-0825, ext. 121, between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
