A car hit a pedestrian Thursday afternoon in Lebanon.
According to Lebanon police Officer Robert Bates, Pamela Jarvis, of Murfreesboro, was headed on W. Main Street at about 4:10 p.m. and attempted to turn south onto S. Hartmann Drive when she hit a pedestrian crossing the road.
Bates said the pedestrian was identified as Andrew Greer, of Lebanon.
“According to two witness statements, [Jarvis] had the green arrow, and [Greer] darted into the roadway,” Bates said.
Bates said witnesses told police Greer was also outside of the crosswalk at the time of impact and was seen running into the street against the pedestrian traffic signal.
Greer was taken to the hospital with minor abrasions, Bates said.
