Thursday night’s Jammin’ with the General concert closed out the event for the year with its final show in the series.
For more than two hours, the Square in Lebanon jammed to different live musical acts as attendees popped out their lawn chairs and enjoyed the entertainment, as well as the food and shopping vendors on site.
Presented by the Lebanon-Wilson County Chamber of Commerce, Thursday night’s concert opened with The Evermean Evergreen Cloggers and finished with The Michael Vance Trio.
The two previous concerts this year featured Randy Moore & The Fabulous Suedes and impressionist Johnny Counterfeit, among others.
The Evermean Evergreen Cloggers, a high energy clogging team featuring cloggers of all ages, got the crowd on its feet first and then gave way to the Michael Vance Trio.
The Michael Vance Trio is a band influenced by blues greats like BB King and a diverse list of guitarists from John Mayer to Brad Paisley. Vance is up-and-coming as a vocalist and guitarist on the Nashville music scene and has even written songs with hit songwriter Stan Webb and Rhean Boyer of Carolina Rain.
Raffles and giveaways were also held between acts throughout the night, which featured prizes from jewelry to gift cards to cosmetics and more.
