Funeral services for Mrs. Eddins will be Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Fesler and Bro. Rick Burns officiating. Interment will follow at Wilson County Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be Wednesday from noon until 4 p.m. and Thursday after 10 a.m. at Ligon & Bobo. Pallbearers will be Norman, Regan, and Bo McDonald, Chris Tomlinson, H. B. McDonald and Chris Thompson.

Mrs. Eddins, age 92, of Lebanon, passed away Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014, at Quality Care.

Born Dec. 9, 1921 in Wilson County, she is the daughter of the late James Albert and Elizabeth Watson McDonald. She was a homemaker and a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Eddins; two brothers, Harold and James Albert McDonald; and four sisters, Nanelle Gentry, Norene Tomlinson, Edna Lena McDonald, and Lucille Nelson.

She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Floyd and Joyce McDonald; niece, Nelda Ann Thompson; and four nephews, H.B. McDonald, Donald Tomlinson, Norman McDonald and Regan McDonald.

The family would like to thank Quality Care for their excellent care for more than three years.
