Funeral services for Mrs. LaFevor will be Friday, Feb. 21, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Hunter Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Mathis and the Rev. Ronnie Smith officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-8 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m until the service time. Interment will follow at Jones Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. LaFevor, age 81, of Watertown, died Tuesday evening, Feb. 18, 2014 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Stoakley Ray and Pauline Botts LaFevor and was preceded in death by a brother, Halbert Ray LaFevor and brother-in-laws, Joe Kenneth Harvey and Floyd Hampton.

Evelyn was a longtime member of the Watertown First Baptist Church and a graduate of Watertown High School, Cumberland College and Middle Tennessee State University. She was retired from the Watertown Elementary School where she taught first grade for 30 years.

Evelyn is survived by her sisters, Peggy Church of Watertown, Charlene Huiras and her husband, Fred, of Mascoutah, Ill., Nancy Harvey, of Watertown, Suzanne Bilbrey and her husband, John, of Watertown; brothers, Jack LaFevor and his wife, Brenda, of Lebanon, Joe LaFevor and his wife, Malisha, of Watertown; sister-in-law, Julia LaFevor of Lebanon; numerous nieces; nephews; great nieces; and great nephews.

Pallbearers will be Fred, Brent and David Huiras, John and Daniel LaFevor, Josh and Jason Knowles, Zach and Nick Phillips and Spence King. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Fidelis Sunday school class.
