Graveside services will be Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 1 p.m. from the Wilson County Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Dan Dozier officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. until noon at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home.

Mr. Kamer, age 69, of Lebanon, died March 2, 2014. A native of Morgan County, he was the son of the late Henry and Dorothy Zumstine Kamer. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War and was a Baptist in belief. He retired from CSX Railroad as conductor with 37 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Wilson Kamer; brother, Marvin Kamer.  He is survived by three sons, David K. (Melissa) Kamer, Bradley S. Kamer, Mark W. Kamer; seven grandchildren, Timothy, Zachary, Molly, Maggie, Alex, Sara Beth and Ruth Anne Kamer; great-grandson, Zachary Dean Kamer; sister, Evelyn Crass; four brothers, Dean (Barbara) Kamer, Edwin Kamer, Gary (Kim) Kamer, Dale (Shelia) Kamer; and sister-in-law, Linda Kamer.

Pallbearers will be David, Brad, Mark, Zachary and Timothy Kamer, Lonnie Fairchild and Charles Derffinger.
