Nickey Julius Barrett

The family of Mr. Barrett will receive friends Sunday, June 29 for a memorial service. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. prior to services at 3:30 p.m.m conducted by Bro. Bill Fowler at Bellwood House of Prayer. The church is located at 81 Bellwood Rd., next to Bellwood Cemetery in Lebanon.

Mr. Barrett was cremated.

Mr. Barrett, 55, passed away May 31, 2014 at his home. He was a welder by trade. One of his proudest accomplishments was the wrought iron fence around General Hatton on the Lebanon Square. He was born, one of twins, Sept. 25, 1958 in Tyler, Texas to Thelma Hutton. He attended Hillcrest Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother; twin sister, Vickey Barrett; and brother-in-law, Kenneth Lea.

He is survived by his son, Toby; brothers, David (Jarvis) Barrett, Floyd (Lanna) Barrett, Phillip (Pat) Powell, Joe (Lori) Hutton; sisters, Betty Lea, Lynn Ritter, Martha (Bobby) Queener; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, anyone wishing to make a donation may do so at the memorial service.
