Raymond Dobson Evans

Mr. Evans, age 84, of Lebanon, died July 20, 2014.

Mr. Evans sold vegetables for more than 25 years at Nashville area churches as part of food fairs. He was a member of Gladeville United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his two daughters, Julie (David) Walker and Katie (Hunter) Henson; two sons, Ray (Linda) Evans, Haskell (Tonya) Evans; grandchildren, Trey, Cody and Lexi Walker, Evan and Emma Henson, Cory and Ethan Evans, Wyatt and Christine Evans; and one brother, Joe Evans.

Mr. Evans was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn Lassiter Evans; and brothers, Jim and Noel Evans.

Mr. Evans was born Oct. 27, 1929 in Gladeville to the late Judge Turner and Neva Evans. Mr. Evans donated his body to Vanderbilt University Medical School.

A memorial service for Mr. Evans will be held Sunday, July 27, 2014 at 4 p.m. at Gladeville United Methodist Church at 8770 Stewarts Ferry Pike in Gladeville. Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 2 p.m. until the service time.
