Virginia Ann Jenkins

Visitation for Mrs. Jenkins will be Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. and Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2017 from 11 a.m. until the service time noon at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home.

A chapel service will be Wednesday at noon at Jennings and Ayers with Jim Creech and Chuck Mullins officiating. A graveside service will follow Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Lebanon. Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Mrs. Jenkins, age 74, passed away Oct. 1, 2017 at NHC Rehabilitation Center in Murfreesboro. She was a native of Lebanon and has lived in Murfreesboro for the last 53 years. Ann loved volunteering and serving others. She received a lifetime achievement award from Hospice in 2000.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Grady H. Bentley Sr. and Virginia Williams Bentley; brothers, Mackey and Freddie Bentley; sister, Juanita Winford; and grandchild, Hannah Davenport.

Ann is survived by her loving husband, Robert N. Jenkins; daughters, Rachel Davenport, Lisa, and husband, Greg Rhodes; son, Bobby, and wife, Sandra Jenkins; brothers, Grady H. Bentley Jr., Calvin Bentley; grandchildren, Summer Jenkins, Rob Jenkins, Hayden Davenport and Hunter Davenport.
