Just in time for school to start, Lebanon athletic director Darian Brown has his coaching lineup set with the naming of Monica Braswell as softball coach.

Braswell comes to LHS from Macon County, where she spent the past three years as head coach. She graduated from Tennessee Tech and Gordonsville High.

She replaces April Harris, who resigned in May after two seasons for family reasons. She guided the Lady Devils to a 21-15 record and was named District 9-AAA Coach of the Year.

Brown spent the summer hiring coaches for soccer, wrestling and baseball, in addition to softball. He also fielded the call from MyTV30 about moving Lebanon's season-opening football game against Mt. Juliet to Aug. 22 to be televised live on Thursday Night Lights.
