Blue Devils, Vols post opening night jr. pro wins

The Lebanon Junior Pro Football League's pee-wee season kicked off Thursday night at Walter J. Baird Middle School.

Blue Devils 14, Vols 6

Even Pryor scored on first-half runs of 51 and 60 yards following fumble recoveries by Jett Canipe. Carlos Willis scored both extra points.

Zachary Self averted the shutout for the Vols with a 30-yard run early in the fourth quarter.

Vols 12, Bandits 6

Bryce Kelly's 61-yard touchdown run in the second quarter and Ian Walsh's 30-yarder in the fourth accounted for the Vol touchdowns.

John Tomlinson, who recovered a first-half fumble, countered for the Bandits with a 29-yard scoring run midway through the fourth quarter.

Connor Gannon recovered a fumble for the Vols late in the first half.
