ANTIOCH — Cane Ridge doubled up visiting Mt. Juliet Christian 4-2 in high school soccer Friday.

Ajia Boochee and Jasmine Sewell scored two gloss each for the Ravens, who led 2-1 at halftime.

Allison Mahabir scored both Mt. Juliet Christian goals, one on an assist by Marcella Gallione. Olivia Gonzales totaled 23 saves for the Lady Saints, who slipped to 3-3.

"The girls played against a very physical team, and they maintained their core Christian values against adversity," Mt. Juliet Christian coach Heather Anderson said. "They each played a clean soccer game even when pushed to her limits. I am so proud of my girls, and we can hold our head up high knowing that, despite losing, we still came out the winners."

Mt. Juliet Christian will return to East-Middle District action at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Ezell-Harding.
