GLADEVILLE — Jajuan Foutch scored twice in the first half Tuesday night as visiting Walter J. Baird ran over Southside 44-0 at Wilson Central.

Foutch scored on an 81-yard run on the first official play after Tyriq Cooper's 71-yard sprint was called back by a clipping penalty and a 13-yard score to end the first half with the Blue Devils up 32-0. Foutch also ran for a pair of two-point conversions and passed to Quinn Suber for another.

Cooper did get a 20-yard score which counted. Deratio Shannon's two-point run opened a 16-0 lead going into the second quarter.

Quarterback Zach Wren's 15-yard run made it 24-0.

Following a scoreless third quarter, fullback Ryan Brown rumbled 32 yards for a touchdown and seldom-used wingback Tom Draper got a 40-yard scoring run on the game's final play as the Blue Devils climbed to 5-2.

Baird will play host to West Wilson at 6:30 p.m. next Tuesday and Watertown at 10 a.m. Sept. 28.
