Mt. Juliet Middle cross-country competes at state

Mt. Juliet Middle School’s cross-country boys team competed in the state meet last Saturday in Knoxville. 

Haley Parker, Julia Karsten and Kennedy Cole were among individual girls who competed.

The  Mt.  Juliet Middle School boys varsity team finished 12th and boys junior varsity team finished 10th overall. Parker finished 19th overall and received an all-state medal.

Among the top finishers on the boys varsity team, Harrison Noffsinger finished 50th, Tyler Stewart 72nd and Jacob Binkley 98th. Britton Cherry finished 23rd and Henry Griffin 32nd among the boys junior varsity top finishers.

Bobby Pruitte is the head coach and Chad Funke is the assistant coach. The team includes Cole, Erin Curry, Chelsea Druen.  Faith Hayes, Amaya Herreram, Ali Johnson, Karsten, Alex Lee, Marti Mitchell, Parker (captain), Kaitlyn Rayburn, Binkley, Cherry, Riley Crockett, Colby Crumpton (captain), Griffin, Luke Hagemeyer, Andrew Harrell, Mason Huddleston, Tucker Huddleston, Cole Hunter, Josh Luffman, Noffsinger, Ben Pham, Austin Powell, Stewart and Ryan Williams.
