Results from the Blue League basketball games:

Byars Dowdy 26, Tuckers Crossroads 12 [girls]

Isabella Simmons scored 12 points Byars Dowdy while Brianna Buhler finished with four and Sarah Hazen, Jyanna Stewart, Alaina Smith, Kayla Seats and Brianna Tello each tossed in two.

Megan Burrow tossed in 10 points and Gwen Franklin the other two for Tuckers.

Byars Dowdy 34, Tuckers Crossroads 8 [boys]

Ricardus Beasley and Dequantay Shannon each scored six points for Byars Dowdy while Jaylen Abston, Zachary Marshall and Evin Patton each put in four and Will Seats, Logan Apple and Ian Walsh two apiece.

Will Weir, Will Hackett, Isaac Johnson and Crockett Goodall each tossed in two points for Tuckers.

Byars won the fifth quarter 14-0 as Apple scored six points and Patton, Walsh and Wyatt Jones each tossed in two.

Castle Heights 29, Coles Ferry 12 [girls]

Addie Grace Porter poured in 12 points and Erica White 10 for Castle Heights. Kendall Arnold added four, Avery Harris two and Landry Dixon a free throw.

Lilly Hibdon scored six points, Sa’mya Rhodes four and Terri Reynolds two for Coles Ferry.

The teams played to a 2-2 draw in the fifth quarter as Coles Ferry’s Julia Manus and Castle Heights’ Malia Randolph did the scoring.

Coles Ferry 32, Castle Heights 22 [boys]

Luka Saller scored 19 points for Coles Ferry while Will Burruss and Mithcell Bare each finished with four, Ryan Becht and Kemontez Logue two apiece and Brady Duncan a free throw.

Jackson Painter stroked in 10 points for Castle Heights while D’Auvionne Jennings and Onterrio Crowell each finished with four and Lake Hendrick and Tyler Quail two apiece.

Coles Ferry won the fifth quarter 7-4. Ryan Becht threw in three points and Logan Sullivan and Andrew Averitt two each for Coles Ferry. Painter and Jackson McRae racked up two points apiece for Castle Heights.

Carroll-Oakland 28, Sam Houston 14 [girls]

Casey Fox fired in 20 points for Carroll-Oakland while Cheyenne King threw in three, Maddie Angle and Hallie Anne Teel two each and Annabelle Vanhook a free throw.

Kemonna Bass led Sam Houston with eight points while Lee Aysia Anderson, Aysha Keller and Amelia Gann each had two.

Carroll-Oakland 32, Sam Houston 15 [boys]

Michael Sells scored 13 points for Carroll-Oakland while Eli Scarlett sank  seven, Eli Carson six, Hunter Scurlock four and Jarrel Hall two.

Jamar Kynard and Nicholas Maggart each finished with four points for Sam Houston while Shac Johnson threw in three and Isiah Marcum and Chris Moore two apiece.

The teams played to a 2-2 fifth-quarter draw as Sam Houston’s Rolando Dowell and Carroll-Oakland’s Cason McNutt notched the points.
