Cumberland Hall of Fame coach Woody Hunt will be the guest speaker. Sponsored by the Lebanon Police Department and the Lebanon O’Charley’s, the casual event will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday in the LHS cafeteria for $5 per person. Thanks to donations from police chief Scott Bowen and O’Charley’s manager K.J. Jones, all former Blue Devil players and coaches will eat free of charge, though reservations are necessary and must be made prior to 10 a.m. Friday. The team will unveil a tribute to early-‘70s Blue Devil star Randy Vanatta, who played a key role in last season’s opening day ceremonies [the first at the new Brent Foster Field] shortly before his Easter weekend death in a car crash.
