Wilson Central scoring king commits to Trevecca

Wilson Central guard Jacob Williams has committed to play basketball for Trevecca Nazarene, which is nearing the completion of its transition from NAIA to NCAA Division II membership.

He plans to sign with the Trojans next week.

Williams is the Wildcats’ career scoring leader with 1,796 points. He averaged 18.9 points, eight reobunds, two assists and 2.2 steals per game as a senior to earn his second District 9-AAA Most Valuable Player award. He is a three-time All-Region 5-AAA performer and was a McDonald’s All-America nominee. 

He scored a 26 on his ACT and has a 3.9 GPA.
