LHS’ Britt finishes 8th in Mid-State Qualifier

SMYRNA — Lebanon’s Mark Britt finished eighth in a Mid-State Qualifier last Saturday at Sharp Springs Park.

As a team, the Blue Devils came in 10th with 354 points. Ravenwood won with 93. Lebanon’s girls were 14th with 376 points. Brentwood won with 7.

Britt was eighth out of 402 runners, completing the 5K course in 16:41. Anthony Reeves was 29th in 17:23, Caleb Kawasaki 44th in 17:51, Jacob Andrews 131st in 19:35, Noah Chance 142nd in 19:45, Austin Montgomery 150th in 19:53 and Cole Langford 193rd in 21:01.

Caitlyn Strickland led the Lady Devils with a 19th-place finish in 20:58. Allie Dozier was 67th in 22:57, Leanne Rymond 86th in 23:23, Cloe Garner 96th in 23:47, Jordan Campbell 108th in 24:15 and Maddie Martin 116th in 24:34.

Cassie Kawasaki was 31st in the girls’ junior-varsity race in 25:41. Thiche Rambang was 45th in the boys’ JV race in 20:10 while Chandler Mulaski was 57th in 20:28.

Lebanon will travel to Lafayette this coming Saturday for the Macon County Invitational.
