Croley, Rosario, Delaune named NAIA All-Americans

TOPEKA, Kans. — Cumberland senior wrestlers Nate Croley, Sammy Rosario and Kyle Delaune were named NAIA All-Americans on Tuesday after their performances this past weekend at the national championships.

Croley repeated as an All-American after placing third this year. The Pigeon Forge native lost in the main draw semifinals at 157 but came back with a pair of victories in the wrestleback to claim third place. He finished the year 32-10 overall.

Delaune garnered his second career All-America accolade (also in 2015), placing sixth at 184. The New Orleans, La., native dropped his first bout of the tournament but won three times in the backdraw. He posted a 22-13 mark during the 2016-17 academic year.

Rosario finished his Cumberland career with his first All-America recognition, placing sixth at 133. The Cartersville, Ga., native lost in the quarterfinals of the main draw before picking up two wins in the wrestleback. He registered a 31-9 overall mark this season.

Three All-Americans in one season ties for the most in a single year in program history. Cumberland accomplished the feat in 2013, 2014 and 2015 as well.
