A car crash Wednesday afternoon claimed the life of a 10-year-old girl in Gladeville.

Andrea Weaver, 37, of Murfreesboro, was traveling southbound on Gladeville Road when she lost control of her 2002 Dodge Stratus while trying to negotiate a curve, according to Tennessee Highway Patrol. 

Investigators believe Weaver over-corrected, and her car was hit in the passenger-side door by a 1991 Nissan traveling northbound.

Weaver's daughter, Lindsey Weaver, also of Murfreesboro, was killed in the crash.

The Nissan's driver, a 17-year-old male, and passenger, a 14-year-old male; Weaver and her 12-year-old son, Zachary, were injured in the crash.

No citations were issued, and no charges have been filed.
