Historic post office book goes on pre-sale

Historic Lebanon and the Wilson County Election Commission announced recently the pre-sale of “203 East Main, Celebrating the History of Lebanon's Original Federal Post Office Building, 1913-2013.” 

Preorders may be made during the Wilson County Fair at the Election Commission booth, at the Election Commission offices at 203 E. Main St. or by calling Historic Lebanon at 615-547-9795.

The cost is $20, and proceeds will benefit Historic Lebanon. 

The book looks at the historic architecture of the building, as well as the history of Lebanon from 1900-20. Stories of former postmasters and postal workers are included, as well as rarely seen photographs of the town. A limited number will be printed.
