Healing Broken Vessels, a local nonprofit organization, is set to hold their third annual fashion show and silent auction Saturday.

The Christian-based organization caters to the education of women and provides learning opportunities for women. According to their mission, Healing Broken Vessels is there “to provide education services that uplift, equip and transform women in Wilson County Tennessee.”

Preparations are in full swing for Saturday’s event, which is slated to take place at College Hills Church of Christ at 1401 Leeville Pike in Lebanon from 2-5 p.m. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m.

Fashions for the event will include collections from Judy’s Fashion, Kasper, Jones of New York, Dress Barn and Awesome Blossom, among others.

During the show, more than 40 different outfits will be modeled in categories such as casual, church, business and eveningwear.

The silent auction will include items from more than 25 businesses in Wilson County, and those in attendance will be allowed to shop in the vendor area before, during and after the fashion show.

Entertainment for the afternoon will showcase local talent.

According to the organization, all money raised from Saturday’s event will go to the organization and directly impact and benefit women from the Wilson County area. Money will help women in need of computer and/or life development skills in order to gain the confidence needed to take charge of their lives.

Sponsorship and advertising opportunities are still available, and those interested can email HBV4U@yahoo.com for more information.

Tickets are still being sold and cost $15. Tickets are available by calling 615-547-4936. No tickets will be sold at the door.
