Wilson County residents will have a few options to ring in the New Year in style.

And the Sheriff’s Office will help make sure partygoers then make it home safely afterwards, providing safe rides home from any party in Wilson County on New Year’s Eve for free, compliments of their “Safe Ride” campaign.

Black Tie and Blue Jeans/A New Year’s Eve Celebration

Sammy B’s at The Mill will offer a casual evening of music, fun, festivities and spirits in The Mill’s Atrium.

The event will feature live music to suit all tastes, with Glen Martin, Mike Bissell, Michael Vance and the Michael Vance Trio and Three Bean Soup featuring Patio Daddio performing.

And since no New Year’s Eve celebration would be complete without a veritable feast, the event will also feature a progressive buffet. Diners will be treated to an antipasti bar, a seafood bar, a pasta bar, a carving station and a dessert bar.

Several cash bars will be available for guests to indulge in their favorite adult beverages.

According to Jill Hale of Sammy B’s, attire is casual.

“It’s come as you are,” said Hale.

She noted that guests must be ages 21 and up.

Tickets including dining are $40 per person or $75 per couple. If foregoing the food, though, the cost is $25 per person.

Guests can pay at the door, but Hale said it would be ideal if they made reservations in advance so there could be plenty of food on hand.
