Lebanon firefighters, along with torrential rain from Monday’s storms, extinguished a fire at Cracker Barrel headquarters caused by lightning.
According to Lebanon Fire Department’s Assistant Chief Jason Baird, lightning struck a ground wire on one of the heating and air conditioning units at Cracker Barrel headquarters on South Hartmann Drive at about 6:30 p.m. and caught some leaves on fire around the unit.
Baird said firefighters quickly put the fire out with a fire extinguisher. No damage was done to the nearby building.
