B&G Foods has signed a lease for more than 445,000 square feet in the Park 840 Logistics Center in Lebanon.
The Nashville office of Duke Realty made the announcement Monday. B&G Foods will occupy 68 percent of the space, and Nutro Co. currently leases the other portion of the building.
“B&G Foods is a growing company that needed a modern distribution center with superior highway access,” said Chris Brown, senior vice president of Duke Realty’s southeast region. “Our Park 840 Logistics Center building provides the flexibility, capacity and functionality that will support B&G Foods’ distribution goals. Plus its location just off [State Route] 840 provides ready access to the rest of the country, enabling deliveries in a day’s drive to 50 percent of the country.”
B&G joins several other companies located in the area, including Amazon Fulfillment Center, Genesco Distribution and Permobil.
“I believe this announcement further validates the many advantages of doing business in Wilson County,” said Joint Economic and Community Development Board director G.C. Hixson. “Working with our partners we were able to once again bring a quality employer to the community. I believe that this long-term lease will allow us to continue our work in bringing other industries to the community while also encouraging our development partners to bring additional buildings and acreage to the market. We are grateful to both B&G Foods and to Duke Realty for their vote of confidence and for their commitment.”
B&G Foods distributes product lines, including Mrs. Dash, Ortega, Cream of Wheat and Bear Creek Country Kitchens, as well as household products Static Guard and Kleen Guard.
