Update: Traffic lights now working in Mt. Juliet's Providence Marketplace area

Multiple road closures, damage in Mt. Juliet

Traffic lights are now working in the Providence Marketplace area of Mt. Juliet, except for South Mt. Juliet Road at Providence Way. Drivers are urged to use caution when driving in the area.

Multiple road and lane closures are also being reported as a result of Wednesday's severe thunderstorm.

Central Pike to the east of S. Mt. Juliet Road is closed due to a large tree across the road.

Chandler Road between Old Lebanon Dirt Road and Normandy Drive is closed due to a downed tree and power lines.

One lane of Interstate 40 East near mile marker 226 is closed following a single car crash.

An injury has been reported as a result of the crash.

One lane of Interstate 40 eastbound is blocked after a crash. The crash blocked the Eastbound right lane near mile marker 250. That area is estimated to be clear by 4 p.m.

Multiple trees and power lines are down across the city. Crews are working to clear debris from roadways.
