An early morning shooting in Lebanon on Saturday left one man dead and sent another to the hospital, according to police.
Lebanon police Chief Scott Bowen said officers received a shots fired call at 48 Dedman Street at about 5:31 a.m. He said officers arrived to find a man shot to death at 32 Dedman Street.
Bowen later identified the man as Andre D. Logue, 30, of 214 Stroud Drive in Lebanon.
According to Bowen, officers found a second shooting victim later Saturday morning at University Medical Center. He said investigators believe Justin L. Johnson, 26, was a resident of and was also shot at 32 Dedman Street.
A hospital spokesperson said Johnson was treated and released Saturday morning. Bowen said Johnson was not charged or in police custody.
Bowen said investigators seek persons of interest in the case and asked anyone with information to call Lebanon police at 615-444-2323.
This is the first shooting death reported in Lebanon since December 2012.
