Mt. Juliet police arrested a suspect involved in a standoff Saturday shortly before 10: 30 p.m. after nearly seven hours barricaded in a Meadowview Drive home.

Mt. Juliet police spokesperson Tyler Chandler said an officer spotted a suspect at about 4 p.m. with felony warrants from Metro Nashville in the 600 block of Meadowview Drive. He said the suspect ran into a home where he was staying and refused to come out.

Police said the suspect was 33-year-old Ryan Michael Craft, who has felony warrants out of Metro Nashville. He was wanted by police for several charges, including aggravated assault.

Chandler said no one else was in the home.

Mt. Juliet’s Special Response Team and crisis negotiators responded to the scene.
