Emergency crews responded to a house fire in Lebanon Saturday morning.
According to authorities, a 911 call at 8:52 a.m. reported a fire at 312 Cleveland Ave. with an elderly couple inside.
Officers were on the scene within two minutes and were able to get the couple out.
Lebanon firefighters arrived three minutes later and extinguished the fire.
Wilson Emergency Management Agency and Middle Tennessee Electric crews were dispatched to the scene also.
It was the third in a series of fires Lebanon firefighters fought Saturday morning.
According to Assistant fire Chief Jason Baird, the first broke out at TRW at around 3 a.m. He said the fire was confined to a flue from a machine that extended through the roof.
Baird said a single-car accident on Interstate 40 caused the second fire call. He said the vehicle left the roadway on the eastbound exit ramp at the South Hartmann Drive exit and caught fire.
