A man died in a motorcycle wreck in Lebanon Friday.
According to Lebanon police Lt. Chris Melvin, an as-yet-unidentified man was traveling on Business Park Drive toward Highway 109 when his Suzuki Hyabusa went off the road and struck a power transformer, which then caught fire.
The wreck happened at about 4:30 p.m.
Lebanon police, Lebanon Fire Department and Wilson Emergency Management Agency responded to the scene.
WEMA Director Joey Cooper said the driver, a 56-year-old male, received serious head and facial trauma from the collision and an off-duty Metro paramedic was on scene and began performing CPR on the victim.
Melvin said the driver died at the scene.
Police are still investigating the wreck and will release more information as it becomes available.
