Sweetie

Doesn’t Sweetie have a beautiful face? And she has the personality to match it, too.  Sweetie is about 2 years old - a happy, well-mannered girl - she gets along fine with other dogs and all visitors. Sweetie will chase cats so a cat-free home would be best. She is healthy - spayed and current on shots. Sweetie came to us heartworm positive - she has been treated and needs a re-test in a few months - the rescue will cover all these expenses. But she can go to her new home now - come to meet Sweetie, you’ll see why she has that name.

Cotton Candy is a very sweet German Shepherd mix - about 3-4 years old - very calm and mild-mannered. She was found as a skinny stray - but her weight is now good and she is very healthy. She is spayed, current on shots and heartworm negative. Cotton gets along fine with other dogs and is good with children - she may chase a cat if it runs. She does not mess in her kennel area so she should be fine with housetraining to a new home. Cotton is a beautiful lady and would make a calm and enjoyable companion pet. For info on Cotton Candy, contact our kennel 615-444-8011.

Please visit our website www.countryk9.petfinder.com or find us on Facebook  Country K-9 Rescue Adoptable Pets to see other available rescued pets. Our adoption fees are usually $100 for dogs and $50 for cats/kittens - all pets are fully vetted and healthy.

Meet Goliath. What a mighty name for such a little guy! This handsome, sweet-natured 6-year-old, 9 pound, blonde Chihuahua mix came to New Leash on Life, along with his “sister” Tillie when their “Momma” passed away. Their Poppa loved them but wasn’t able to care for them any longer. His Poppa says Goliath is a little timid but very sweet. He is independent, however he loves being around his buddy Tillie.

Of course, he doesn’t mind being pampered a bit. Sitting in a lap and being petted is one of his favorite things. Goliath loves to eat carrots and bits of cabbage mixed in with his food. Momma definitely wanted Goliath and Tillie to be on a healthy diet.  For the most part, he will eat his veggies because that is what good healthy boys do! Goliath’s adoption fee includes his neutering, micro-chipping and current vaccinations. With an approved application, Goliath can be your new furry friend for $135, or consider adopting him along with his BFF Tillie for $240. If you’re ready for your home to be filled with laughter and love, please contact New Leash on Life for more information or visit Goliath (don’t forget to check out Tillie too!) at our adoption center today!  All New Leash on Life dogs must be adopted to families willing to have their pets be allowed inside-especially at night.

Clarence is a stunning 1-year-old, 12 pound, grey and white Tabby. He is very friendly and loves getting attention and sometimes gives little “love nips” when he is done with the head scratches and chins rubs! So a home with older children would probably be best for Clarence. He gets along with other cats or at least tolerates them in our open cat room. Clarence came to New Leash on Life to find his forever inside home. The area where he lived was having problems with cats being poisoned and the individual who brought him to us wanted to make sure he could live his life inside where he’d be loved and safe. Clarence is litter box trained, neutered, micro-chipped and current on vaccinations. Adopt Clarence for $85 and make him your new forever friend. Adoption Center Policy:  All cats must be indoor only and shall not be declawed.
