Sabaski graduates from infantry training

Army Pvt. Cody T. Sabaski has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga.

During the nine weeks of training, the soldier received training in drill and ceremonies, weapons, map reading, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, and Army history, core values and traditions. Additional training included development of basic combat skills and battlefield operations and tactics, and experiencing use of various weapons and weapons defenses available to the infantry crewman.

Sabaski is the son of William T. Sabaski of Lebanon and Shannon C. and step-son of Robert C. Brown of Emmaus, Pa.

He is a 2013 graduate of Emmaus High School, Emmaus, Pa.

Smithson graduates from infantry training

Army Pvt. Shane C. Smithson has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga.

Smithson is the son of Linda G. Mckenzie of Lebanon and Tim M. Smithson of Mt. Juliet.

He is a 2012 graduate of Wilson Central High School.
