Country K-9 Rescue has received a new kennel building donated by Deanna Dodd.
Dodd is a Lebanon-area realtor. The new building houses four kennel areas for rescued pets. It has already been put to use to help with some rescues, including a nursing mom dog and 10 pups.
The construction was handled by Don Borcherding, and includes many dog-friendly touches, like doggie doors to outside run areas.
Country K-9 Rescue is a nonprofit, all-volunteer animal rescue that depends on grants and private donations to help rescued pets.
