A man was stabbed early Monday morning in Lebanon.
Police responded to No. 2 Head Homes at about 2:30 a.m. after a caller reported a stabbing, said Chief Scott Bowen in a statement.
“Apparently there was an altercation in the street,” said Bowen. “We believe it was a one-on-one altercation.”
Upon arrival, officers found that a friend of the victim had already taken the victim to UMC.
The victim was then transferred to Vanderbilt with critical injuries.
“He’s come through surgery, but he is still in critical condition,” said Bowen on Monday afternoon.
Police are still investigating and are searching for a person of interest.
