A United Auto Workers striker at the Lebanon TRW facility said a tractor-trailer hit him as it was leaving the parking lot.

According to police, Ronald Hendrix, a UAW worker at Lebanon TRW who is currently on strike, reported the truck hit him while it was leaving the parking lot at the facility on Baddour Parkway and then drove away.

He reported the incident at about 7:25 p.m. Tuesday.

When officers questioned the witnesses, some said the truck glanced him and others said that it did not, according to Lebanon police Chief Scott Bowen.

"We are not going to take sides in this," said Bowen. "That’s not what we are here for. We are here for the citizens. Our job is to keep everyone safe. For us it’s closed. There isn't enough information to go either way."

Wilson County Emergency Management Director John Jewel said WEMA was not called for the incident.

No injuries were reported.
