Police said burglars struck multiple vehicles in a Lebanon apartment complex over the weekend.

“We think they probably happened late Friday night, early Saturday morning,” said Lebanon police Chief Scott Bowen.

He said items were stolen from five unlocked vehicles parked in the Rollingwood apartment complex.

“Mainly electronics and other stuff that was laying in the vehicles,” said Bowen. “We do have two male subjects that were walking around the area, but we’re not sure yet if they were associated, but that’s something we’re looking into.”

He said a detective has been assigned to investigate.

“We’re looking for physical evidence, any witnesses that saw something and if they stole something that we have a serial number on,” said Bowen.

He advised people to not leave valuables, including purses containing IDs and credit cards, in their cars.

“Don’t leave that stuff in plain sight,” said Bowen.

He also said to be sure to lock unattended vehicles.

“It’s a lot more likely of them getting caught if they have to bust a window, because somebody’s going to hear that,” said Bowen.
